Staff of the Samdhana Institute and Papua NGO Forum (FOKER LSM) took part in training and internships at the SASHI Foundation office to learn data management and analysis from September 6 to October 14, 2022. During the internship, participants learnt geospatial management, including defining scope, needs and standards. Apart from that, participants also learnt spatial analysis to identify forest loss and gain, land cover changes using GIS technology, with a focus on the open-source QGIS application. The internship included 4 participants, 3 people from Samdhana and 1 from Papuan NGO FOKER.
